Perspective of a Thinking Human Being.

I’m in a challenge here, since I have nothing but Linux as my Operating System, and I have to do a presentation for the Storage Area Network class. Well, I need to only use OpenOffice.org Impress to replace PowerPoint and if I need a Visio-like program I will use Dia (Diagram Editor). Let’s see how all this fairs in class. I may put the presentation online, here, for all of you to see and tell me how it looks, well, I just am still thinking if I should do it in English and explain it in Spanish to the class, or make it Spanish, well, tough one here. But the point is, can I make a presentation as elegant as those guys who have made it before me in class with their fancy MS products with only open source products myself? well lets see, I’ll let you know, next week. BTW, here are some good OpenOffice.org templates. Enjoy.

Microsoft is just willing to give the source code of .NET for developers to view. Now this is a "See it but don’t touch it". I just have a hard time believing how many people like this aproach from MS. I mean don’t people think logically that this is just a lawsuit time, MS says: "Hey!, that application does something .NET does (MONO) and I have proof you have seen my .NET source code, so obviously you are using my code, I’m gonna sue you". Think about it MONO guys before making steps in the wrong direction. This is why MONO is just a MS trap.
